The waiting is over, held-off because of government restrictions, the education sector can wait no more!
We are asking all nominees and guests booked for the 2020 Educate North Awards to get ready, be prepared, and dress up because the organisers have decided they can no longer hold the sector in suspense.
The prestigious awards will be announced in a specially streamed event on Thursday 22nd April 2021 from 7.30 pm. The evening will be hosted by Jim Hancock and further details around the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
All current ticket holders can put another highlight in their diaries as they will be asked to join us in 2022 for a live Educate North Awards which will celebrate your victory as a nominee or trophy winner.
All investments made to date will be transferred to the 2022 event in the spring of that year.
The event on Thursday 22nd April 2021 will also pay tribute to the outstanding work of the University, HE, FE and Sixth Form sectors in encountering the worst aspects of the pandemic and highlighting some of the most remarkable contributions made by education in the North and across the UK to the health and economic battles we have been facing.
We will also shortly announce the contenders for the 2021 University Entrepreneurs Grant UEG (which you will be able to see online in February 2021) as four students or graduates compete for a £1000 cash prize and a special mentoring course with the big, bold and bright business ideas. We normally stage this live but now judges will decide on the winner. It’s an exciting and inspiring competition.
Thanks to you for your patience and support. We have acted to protect all guests and of course to relieve further pressure on our brilliant NHS.
