Complete your Entry Form

Complete all relevant information and supporting documentation (word or PDF document).

Register via our Online Portal

Upload your entry using the online portal by completing your company profile. Entrants have access to their account to make any amendments up until the entry deadline.
You will need to register via our online entry portal to make a submission. Once you have registered and filled out your company profile, you will be able to access your account and submit and edit entries. Remember you can enter more than one category using the same project or enter one category with multiple projects. Our judges want to see the best of the best and that might be you across different categories and areas. Just make sure you submit a separate form for each entry and tweak the information so that you ensure you match the criteria.

The Rules

Entry is free.
There is no entry limit, however you must ensure you fill out a separate Word Doc/PDF entry form each entry submission. For example, if you submit 5 different entries, you will need to complete 5 individual entry forms and upload these separately on each submission.
If you are uploading the same entry into another category, you will need to edit your entry form and make sure the correct category is checked. If the correct category is not checked or the same entry appears to be used across multiple categories, your entry may be classed as void and therefore not judged.
All entries must not exceed 1000 words. The word count should focus on the criteria requirements only and does not include the company information at the start of the form or the questions already within the form. Any additional links should be referenced within the supporting category section of the form.
When creating a title for your entry, please structure your title in the following format: “Institution Name & Client Name – Campaign or Project Name” or just “Institution Name” for institutional awards
Entries should relate to work undertaken between January 2024 – January 2025. We will accept submissions based on projects or initiatives that commenced prior to the 24/25 academic year, on the basis that the proportionally, the majority of work has taken place during the 24/25 year.
Entry forms can be designed to your company branding, as long as they contain the appropriate questions/headings in which the judges mark upon.
Please ensure you read the terms and conditions before submitting an entry.

Entry Fees

This event is free to enter.

You can submit as many entries as you wish, however each entry form must be specifically written to meet the criteria of each award category

File Uploads Format

Individual files must not exceed 2MB. When creating your online profile, ensure your logo is of high quality as this will be used for marketing purposes. Entry forms will only be accepted as a PDF or Word Document. Supporting documents can be provided in Word, PDF or JPEG format. Zip files and videos cannot be accepted, however, you can include links to online files.

Testimonials

The Educate North Awards represent both an important high-point and aspiration for the North’s academics, institutions and indeed students. It provides a platform for sharing excellence and achievement. More importantly it encourages, promotes, and nurtures the sector and talent. Congratulations on reaching 10. Here’s to the next ten celebrations of what the education sector achieves. DR JOHN CATER CBE DL, VICE-CHANCELLOR
EDGE-HILL UNIVERSITY
I was overwhelmed to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023 as part of the Educate North Awards. It’s inspiring to see so many dedicated people being recognised for their important work across the educational sector and across so many disciplines. I hope the creators will build upon their own success since 2015 and create more opportunities to showcase what education really means in the North of this country. PROFESSOR NICOLA CURTIN
UNIVERSITY OF NEWCASTLE
Seeing the Educate North Awards live for the first time in 2023 was a wonderful experience. To bring an often disparate sector together is wonderful, to share best-practice is fulfilling and to see the superb standards from Sixth-Forms, Further Education and then HE in one room is often, breathtaking. We should embrace Educate North more and drive it forward beyond this special 10th ceremony. SIR JOHN JONES
EDUCATIONALIST
The idea sounded complex but exciting in 2015. Could the North create a showpiece which would harness the best of the talents we have in our educational sector? Would anyone even enter? Would we create a respected and highly motivated judging panel and find expert leadership for it? Would we also find room, as we did in the first 3 years, to debate the future direction and resources needed to increase social mobility and opportunities for all? Would we find new business ideas and young entrepreneurs as well with a willingness to test their ideas? The answer was yes, and the result is a wonderful parade of superb nominees who are helping shape and change the worlds they occupy. Long may Educate North continue. DR JOHN KENNEDY CBE, KSG, KMCO, DL.
