Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges will be asked to give a score for each question within the entry form. These will be combined to give an overall score for each entry. All judges pre-scores will then be combined and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists.
Judges will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree the winner for each category. The shortlists will be announced on the 17 February 2023. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 27 April 2023.
Please see the categories for details of what should be included in your entry. The judges will be looking for institutions, teams & initiatives that can demonstrate a clear impact on the economy in the North. Entries will be judged only on the information provided within the entry form therefore the structure, presentation and clarity should be considered.
Entries should not exceed 1000 words in total and should relate to work undertaken between January 2024 – January 2025.
